about us

A fairer, greener industry powered by artists and screen workers.
Green Rider is a movement of artists, agents and producers shifting the TV and film industry towards fairer and healthier ways of working. Launched in August 2023, we have helped break down old-fashioned hierarchies on set and reduced emissions and waste on productions including Day of the Jackal, Gangs of London, Down Cemetery Road, Dune: Prophecy and The Capture.
Cleaner, greener and fairer ways of working become the norm.
Production is organised around human wellbeing, a fair deal for workers, and harmony with the natural world.
We transform old traditions of consumption into circular models that other industries can follow.
Status is no longer measured by how many resources we consume, but by our contribution to building a fair and healthy world for future generations.
Power and resources are shared fairly, so that star culture no longer allows for bullying, harassment, or overconsumption.
shaping culture
As an industry, we’ve learned to measure status through ‘perks’.
Who gets the biggest trailer, an exclusive car, even a private jet…
The Green Rider movement flips this script, so that we find our value through making our industry cleaner, greener and fairer for all.
Every set is a community. When we model fairness and sustainability, we show our global audience that big change happens when we work together.

We've changed the world before
89% of people worldwide want to see bolder action on climate.
But many of us don’t realise that our neighbours and communities feel as strongly as we do. Film & TV have a unique ability to fix this. As storytellers, we can show our audiences cleaner, fairer ways of working and activate the silent majority. Throughout history, art has sparked social progress. We boycotted South African Apartheid. We put gay kisses on TV. We spoke up during #MeToo. We’ve done it before and we can do it again.
